OUR COMMUNITIES & VALUES
Our empathy-led philosophy celebrates the magnificent spectrum in the LGBTQ+ community while encouraging all people to be treated with dignity and respect. As an LGBTBE (LGBT-Certified company), we are proud to support our community through both philanthropic efforts and our clients, including the Tyler Clementi Foundation, Queer|Art, Guilford Green Foundation, Voces Latinas, Triad Health Project, and Amida Care.

A Great Idea for community.

LGBTQ+ Health Fairs of Durham
Created and managed b the Durham LGBTQ+ Center, the goal of this semi-annual event is to bridge gaps in access to service while also finding quality care from affirming resources. We are proud to sponsor the program for the year.

Orgullo Latinx
We are proud to be a sponsor of this event. This is a space to celebrate and share the diverse cultures, identities, and experiences of the local Latinx LGBTQ community. Organizers from El Centro Hispano aim to create an event that fosters unity, inclusivity, and empowerment by show casing our community’s talents while providing social, healthcare, and advocacy resources, and family fun.

Every Day, Say 'Gay'
The Genders and Sexualities Alliance (GSA) Network of North Carolina and A Great Idea partnered to encourage community members to lift their voice and joining with others to advance equity + justice to combat homophobia, transphobia, and other injustices that impact those in the queer spectrum. Through an original postcard campaign as well as presence at several LGBTQ+ events (including Pride in Durham and Greensboro), nearly a thousand participants had their images taken and took steps to contact their representatives. Launch issue of bell
We believe small-to-midsize businesses like ours can make a meaningful impact in our communities through supporting grassroots, peer-led initiatives. We are proud to be a 2020 Durham Pride sponsor and especially to support the launch of the LGBTQ Center of Durham’s first Pride Zine which features poetry, art, sculpture and writing from some of Durham’s most talented Trans, Gay and Queer Artists. We are passionate about supporting BIPOC leadership, as well as trans and queer community voices and creativity with love and resources.

Power Beyond Pride
In the fall of 2019, we are excited to be bringing the grassroots project Power Beyond Pride to life with the support of local volunteers and organizations. Starting with a great idea, the steering committee is building a monthly forum series that brings people together to discuss what the future of the LGBTQ+ community can look like in central North Carolina.
